A musical composition created for the guitar, with an initially melancholic flavor, but gritty in the central and final parts, and inspired by the big question of children from Eastern countries transplanted to the West, as well as of everyone forced to abandon his/her own land. The structure of the piece is quite articulated, with the arrangement in the first part designed for 2 guitars, each of which interpreting a melodic line, but both carefully intertwined on a basic arpeggio. An interlude introduces the second part, played by an acoustic lead guitar with background chords played on another rhythmic one, and proposes the main melody of the song. In the third part, the same melodic theme is taken up in fingerpicking style by just one acoustic guitar. The last section leaves room for a short solo on electric guitar, and then resumes the dominant motif.
